If you choose to purchase a double buggy there are three kinds to choose from: side-by-side or tandem, and convertible. Side-by-side buggies come with two seats that are next to each other, meaning that your children will be able to see each one another. They are wider than a single stroller and can be difficult to navigate around the kerbs. Tandem buggies are a compact option, with one seat at the front and another at the back. However, they can be heavy and difficult to push.
Convertible double buggies are wonderful because they allow you to convert your stroller to a dual buggy by simply attaching an infant bassinet or car seat to the frame. This will allow you to keep your newborn snuggled up comfortably in their car seat until they're ready for a move into the main buggy seat. The UPPababy V2 is a great example of this - it can be used with twins, a toddler and a baby or even three children using the optional PiggyBack Board.
